Hi, I’m Jesper. I’m a self-taught tech enthusiast from the west coast of Denmark, and I’ve been tinkering with computers for as long as I can remember.
My main interests are Linux, networking, information security and self-hosting. I’d rather build and run things myself than rent them from someone else, so I run my own homelab and VPS. That’s where I host my own websites, run an nginx reverse proxy with a WAF in front of them, and experiment with whatever has caught my attention lately.
Some of the things I work on:
Web development, mostly in PHP. snapi.sh, my own image hosting project. A World of Warcraft private server, built on AzerothCore with playerbots, because sometimes the best way to learn is to break things for fun. Hardening and securing my own infrastructure, and figuring out how attackers think.
This blog is where I write down what I build, what breaks, and how I fix it. Some posts will be guides, some will be notes to my future self, and some will just be me thinking out loud about tech and security.
If something here helps you, or you spot something I got wrong, feel free to reach out.
